Salon CF40 Experience & Cuts Inc. start Module 1

Two salons have joined the Gholdenphish-Salon Advantage program this month and are well on the way to a more profitable year.

Both CF40 in Tonypandy, Glamorgan and Cuts Inc. in Broadstairs, Kent have been leading the way in their respective areas for some years. Claire at CF40 is in demand for fashion shoots in the UK and abroad and has just completed a Spring Collection for Vogue. “I just want to know that we are doing everything possible to develop our business…” she says “…and with minimum extra work for me, personally!”

At the opposite side of the country but at the same high level of client care, Chris at Cuts Inc has brilliant expansion plans for the salon. The goal is to double his floor space and move the ambience streets ahead of the competition. “I need to be sure that we are on top of everything and my team are secure before I commit major expenditure in the current climate” he says. “I have a high performing team. I want to work with Gholdenphish to help push up their profitability as fast as possible”. The focus in Module 1 is on your Business Toolkit. This means getting all the Salon Advantage processes working automatically, reeling in non-returning clients, raising rebooking rates and revitalising the consultation.

How Do you get People to do what you them to do..... at Salon Smart Glasgow

This was the question I asked 150 salon owners at Salon Smart Glasgow, Creative HEAD magazine's business networking event.  This inspirational day was designed to ensure that salon owners came away full of new practical ideas, ready to transform their business. 

Gholdenphish was invited to make a presentation on how to get the best out of your Team and the line up also included top business experts such as Cory Couts and industry star Trevor Sorbie.

And how do you get people to do what you want them to do?  Well there's no magical formula but we gave the audience some really powerful tools that we know work.  First we looked at their own behaviour in the salon by asking them how they'd react in different real life situations. And we looked at the most effective way to delegate and how you should deal with people who really step out of line.

As Business Coaches to the Hairdressing Industry, we visit lots of different salons for hair cuts and blow drys.
