Recently local hair salon Cuts Inc displayed a poster in their window; “Models Wanted”. After many applications and careful selection, a model was chosen. Armed with quality TiGi products, the team of Cuts Inc professional stylists set about creating a sensational model makeover. From girlish prettiness to glamorous beauty; a unique and transformational hairstyle emerged.
Owner of Cuts Inc, Chris Coles explains: “Looking at effective ways to promote the salon was our main focus for this campaign. We have started working with business coach Nick Siddle from Gholdenphish, who encourages our team to be pro active in our efforts to grow our business locally. Nick helps us to recognise areas in our business that work for us; the things that do well and how we should keep doing them. Nick’s support and interaction spurred on the idea for advertising for a model.”
Hampshire based business Gholdenphish works with salon owners across the UK who want to create happy, busy and profitable salons. Gholdenphish provides a personal service with regular contact, ensuring consistency and a high level of support.
“Our free module programme is the foundation for developing the Cuts Inc business. We work with Chris and his team to help them make their salon more profitable, by capitalising on what works well. We recognised the efforts of Cuts Inc’s recent model campaign. We encouraged Chris to utilise this success to promote their quality of work and improve their local performance. Currently Cuts Inc are working on the first module. This module includes the use of software for the effective collection of information about clients and how to action this information for improved consultations,” comments Nick from Gholdenphish.
In response Chris says, “Working with Nick has given us the confidence to look beyond our own jobs and responsibilities at the salon. Using the Salon Advantage software has helped us clean up our database and we now use the system effectively. It’s given us a closer look at our own management style and the way we profile ourselves. Probably the biggest benefit is that we look at ourselves more clearly; we can now see the wood for the trees.”
